In addition to the financial contribution our active volunteers have committed many hours, both in the restoration and maintenance of the mill and the mill site. A major milestone has been the commissioning of a set of ‘Derbyshire’ mill stones which had previously been idle and unused for 60 years. These have been used to mill fine quality flour. We have also contributed to the improvements and upgrades to services at the site including the improved floodlighting which presents the mill as a fine spectacle against the Waltham evening skyline.

Inevitably the mill requires ongoing attention, and we are grateful to have the support of our millwright and the Windmill Trust to help us achieve our objectives.

The trustees would like to thank all members and supporters who have contributed to the Society during the year. We will continue to work with the Windmill trust and other stakeholders at the site in order to develop and maintain the Windmill Site as a recreational and educational attraction within North East Lincolnshire. A full programme of events can be found at our recently updated website and on Facebook.

Thank you for your support!
