## **TRUSTEES' REPORT FOR 2021**
It has been fantastic the Charity has now weathered the crisis of Covid-19 and the we are gradually returning to our old routine. It has been a true blessing that we were able to resume holdind our Coffee Mornings, with the first one having been held in May. Unfortunately, we were unable to get the word about about as much as we would have liked but, thankfully, things soon got back to normal and have and are continuing to flourish. It is truly wonderful to see our friends and supporters, just like the pre-pandemic days. A HUGE WELCOME BACK TO EVERYONE !!
On the financial side we have continued to benefit from the generous support of our 'regular' givers, in addition to which we have received such kindness from the families of their loved ones who are sadly no longer with us. We also received some generous bequests which give us real financial security to bolster all the funds raised by our magnificent funf raisers and Coffee Morning 'staff'.
Statistics on our amimal welfare activities during a not so busy year are that we have rehomes 31 dogs and 48 cats, bringing the totals, since inception in 1987 to 2,130 dogs and 2,696 cats, but in addition to this we are providing shelter in our Sanctuary to many dogs and cats that cannot ,unfortuneatly, be rehomed for ongoing health problems. Here we can provide them with all the veterinary and tender healthcare for rest of their days. And as always we provide kennelling for dogs and cats whilst they await us finding suitable homes and families to join.
As always at this time, I take the opportunity in this Report to sincerely thank publicly all our supporters, helpers and dedicated fundraisers for their fantastic efforts.
It gives me and my amazing Committee so much encouragement to continue with such valueable and truly caring work.
