The Temperance Hall bulldlng is 150
years old, is situated in the centre of
Laceby's Conservation Area, and the
maintenance of the Victorian building as
a village hall is essential to the village.
Thè building contains a large hall which
provides an ideal venue for various
village groups. The charity's work
therefore supports the upkeep of this
fine building and provldes an excellent
facility for a variety of village
organisations and individua18 to Use,
nèfitting the village as a wholè.

The nornial annual income of th8 Temperance Hall charity is around £5,000. In December
2021 the charity roceivod a grant of £20.000 from tho Laceby Solar Fami Community Fund
towards the cost of re-roofing the bulldlng and the work was carried out in August 2022
at a cost of £33,012. The receipt of this grant has caused the annual income of the
charity to just aXC88d £25.000.
