Report of the Trustees for the v¢ar ended 31 December 2021
The trustees submit their annual report and financial statements for the year ended
31 December 2021. The trustees hav¢ adopted the provision of the Statelnent of
Recommended Accounting Practice. Accounting and Reporting by Charilies
(SORP 2005} issued in May 2008.
In preparing the annual report and financial statements the Inistees have taken
advantage of the coThcessions allowed for smaller charities.
The charity number is 519801 and th¢ charity's principal address is Aylestone Road.

Review of the objectives, activities and achievements:_
(a)
To advance of the Greek Orthodox faith. Sunday service in church is
maintsined to high standards.
To advance education and in particular but not exclusive education in the
Greek Orthodox culture.
ThL relief of the elderly, sick and disabled members of the Greek Community
through the 5UPlX)rt. financial or otherwise.
To provide or assist in th¢ provision of the facilities for recreation and other
leisure time occupalion in thc interests of social welfare with the object of
improving the life of the said beneficiarics and in particular but not
ex¢lusively. the youngcr and elder member of th¢ Community.

The Community Hall is always made available for Community events, promoting the
objedives of the charity, for religiou5. educational, cultural and charilable purposes.
D¢Éails of the charity's financial activities and funds are given in the allached finance
statement.
All assets of the clwity are held by Ihe truslees in trust for the charity.

I rewrt on the accounts of the T￿￿ for the year ended 31 December 2021 which are
set oul on pages 4 and 5.
Resp¢¢tive Responsibilities of Trustees and Examiner
The charity's Inistees arc r¢sponsible for the preparation of the accounts. The
charily's mistees consider that an audit is not rquired for this year and that an
independent examination is needed.
It is my responsibility to:
examine the accounts (under section 145 of the 2011 Act).
follow the procedures laid down in the General Directions 8iven by the Charity
Commissioners (under section 145 (9) of the 2011 A¢t:

Basis of Independent Examiner's Statement
My examination carried out in accordanc¢ with the General Directions giv¢n by
the Charity Commissioners. An examination includes a review of the accouniing
records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those
re¢ords. It also includes considcration of any unusual items or disclosures in the
accounts, seeking explanations from you &$ trustees concerning any such matters.
The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in
an audit, and consequently. I do not express an audit opinion on the view given by the
accounts.
