I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above
charity ('the Trust") for the year ended 31 December 2023.
Responsibilities and As the charity trustees of the Trust, you are responsible for the preparation
basis of report of the accounts in accordan￿ with the requirements of the Charities Act
2011 ("the Act").
I report in respect of my examination of the Trust's accounts carried out
under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I
have followed the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission
under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have
come to my attention in connection with the examination which gives me
cause to believe that in. any material respect"

Section C
Objectives and activities
a) To advance the Islamic religion by enhancing education and
practising the principles of the Islamic faith according to the Quran
and Sunnah of Proptiel Hazrat Muhaffltnad (SAW).
b) To establish and maintain the masjid for public worship according
to Islam.
c) To celebrate the principle Islamic religious festivals including,
Shob*-Barat, Shob-e-Qadr. Shob-e-meraj, Eid-e-Mi12dLJn-Nabi
(SAW), Eids, Ashura. etc.
d) To carry out marriage and death ceremonies according to both
Islam and the law of this country.
e) To establish and maintain a public library under the name of the
Islamic Centre consisting of religious and cultural literature in
respect of Islamic religious views.
f) To maintain effective relations with local authorities and develop a
communications network between different faiths.
g) To facilitate training to those who are interested in gaining Islamic
knowledge by providing relevant adult and children activities and
scriptures.
h) To print and publicise religious literature on Islam in Arabic and if
possible, in other languages.
i) To empower our children to gain the Islamic knowledge by
learning the Quran and Sunnah in an appropriate manner.
j) The Executive Committee may take any other action which is
necessary to the attainment of these objects and nothing that
would result in the use of the funds of the masjid being applied for
any purpose which is not legally charitable.

The Masjid is open every day for daily prayers throughout the year.
Special arrangements are made for food and drink to be available during
religious festivals including the fasting month of Ramadan.
The Masjid provides funeral and marriage ServI￿S including civil and
Islamic marriage registration. Islamic classes are held at the weekend
Madrasha for the teaching of Arabic classes.
Darul Quirat. a special intensive Arabic course. is held during the 6
weeks summer holiday.
The Masjid holds for general reference, copies of Islamic literature and
scriptures.

Achievements and performance
Summary of the main
achievements of the charity
during the year
Policies and training.. COVID-19 has had a significant impact on the
charity. The level of donations has fallen and, coupled with the
restrictions imposed by the pandemic, ongoing activities have been
reduced. Following several inspections from Bimingham City Council,
the charity was awarded a COVID Safety Charter certificate of COVID
compliancy. The Executives. staff and volunteers have updated their
training including First Aid, DBS Cleaiericv, Heallh arid Safety. Child
Protection Policy and Safeguarding Policy are also updated.
Ongoing events: The ongoing activities include Friday Tajweed Sessions
for adults. Weekend Madrasa for children's Arabic classes, Mi'rajunnabi
(SAW), Lailatul Barath, visiting the graveyards, Ramadan performance,
Lailatul Qadr, Eid-ul-Fithr (open field). Eid-ul-Adha (open field), Ashura
and Eid-E-Miladunnabi (SAW).
Darul Qirat: An intensive Arabic Tajweed session for chlldren, scheduled
during the summer holiday. Eleven qualified QarieslQarias successfully
passed their exams and received the graduation certificates.
Communication Nehvork: We have a wonderful communication network
with the local police department by sharing and discussing local, national,
and intemational issues. These were specifically in relation to the knife
attacks. burglary and drug crimes in the Midlands area. We regularly
attend the Community Network meetings which are organised by the
West Midlands Police Department every three months. As a stronger
community, we have been working together with local schools. other faith
groups and voluntary organisations as well.
Publication: By promoting the local busin?s%eq. thp annual calendar 2024
with a prayer timetable was published in December 2023. The job
adverts are also displayed for job seekers.
Long-term strategy: Buying House Project is a wonderful long tem) plan.
To generate the income of the Masjid, it would be a good investment for
the future.
