Activities

We cater mainly for the needs of the older people in the ward. This take the form of variety clubs and activities including a highly successful Lunch Club which provides meals four days a week and as we also have a minibus this allows housebound residents to take part in the activities as we can transport them to and from the club.There is also a number of regular clubs who meet in the building

Objects: A. To Promote The Benefit Of The Inhabitants Of Fergusons Lane Estate And The Neighbourhood Without Distinction Of Sex Or Of Political, Religious Or Other Opinions By Associating The Local Authorities, Voluntary Organisations And Inhabitants In A Common Effort To Advance Education And To Provide Facilities In The Interests Of Social Welfare For Recreation And Leisure Time Occupation With The Object Of Improving The Conditions Of Life For The Said Inhabitants. B. To Establish Or To Secure The Establishment Of A Community Hall And To Maintain And Manage, Or To Co-Operate With Any Local Statutory Authority In The Maintenance And Management Of Such Community Hall For Activities Promoted By Th Association In Furtherance Of The Above Objects.
