PSFA 2019-20 Report
This year started with an opening balance of £25,011.44 and the group decided that they wanted to raise some funds to purchase outdoor equipment for the school.
With that in mind, a Fundraiser was employed by the school and funded from the charity. There were some small donations secured, amounting to £5,240. The viability of the post was a concern and the temporary contract ended in in October 2019.
Monies continue to come in via Just Giving and we have signed up to Amazon Smile giving us a small income from donations via Amazon. This is in the early stages but continues to be advertised via our website for parents to buy their products on this platform to continue to bring in funds.
Our usual bingos and raffles continued and a good time, as well as the fundraising, was had by all.
Sadly, as Covid-19 hit us a lot of the events planned to raise funds were cancelled.
The Business Manager at school continued to pursue bids for funds and at this time was in early consultation with a few groups regarding these bids.
The closing balance was £37,058.89 which we hope to build on when we can secure some outside funding for a canopy and a climbing frame.
