Section C: Objectives & Activities.
Section C: Objectives & Activities. Summary of the Objects of the Charity To promote for the benefit of the inhabitants of Carno Electoral District set out in its Governing Document: and the surrounding area, facilities in the interests of social, educational, recreational and leisure-time with the object of improving the quality of ~~ry~~ life for local community. Summary of the main activities The prime activity of the Association is to ensure the successful undertaken for the public benefit in management of the Community Centre and the recreation facilities relation to those objectives: associated with the Ty Brith Field. This continues to be successful undertaken by the Community Centre sub-committee with a wide range of ~~a~~ activities being made available. Additional details of Objectives & The Trustees wish to acknowledge the contribution of the members of its Activities: sub-committee the Carno Community Centre Management Committee. The Trustees also wishes to record the contribution made by its Administrator. ~~ee~~ Section D: Achievements & Performance. Summary of the main achievements of The Board of Trustees has not been very active during the year, with all the charity during the 2022/2023 year: the work being channelled through the Carno Community centre Management Sub Committee. The charities subgroup, the Carno Community Centre operates completely independently through the Centre’s Management Committee. The Trustees are grateful for the work that committee to ensure the Centre remains a vibrant and a valuable asset for the community. The charity’s work towards becoming an ICO continues to be difficult and remained on hold throughout the year. ~~ne~~ Section E: Financial Review. Brief statement of the Charity’s policy Given the manner in which the Charity operates, there is never a need to on Reserves: hold significant reserves. Details of any funds materially in Not applicable. deficit: ~~a~~ Further Financial Review details: The Charity does not seek to source funding on a regularly basis, seeking funding when projects arise. Regular payments are still being credited from the Ofgem RHI Initiative which are passed to the Association’s sub-committee the Community Centre Management Committee to help with the day-to-day management operation of the Centre. ~~_—$—~~ Section F: Other Optional Information. Report to the trustees CARNO RECREATION ASSOCIATION On accounts for the year Charity no 519089 31st March 2024 ended (if any) Set out on pages I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity (“the Trust”) for the year ended 31st March 2024 Responsibilities and As the charity's trustees, you are responsible for the preparation of the basis of report accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 ("the Act”).
I report in respect of my examination of the Trust's accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
Independent
examiner's statement I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination which gives me cause to believe that in, any material respect:

the accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 130 of the Charities Act; or
-
the accounts did not accord with the accounting records; or
-
« the accounts did not comply with the applicable requirements concerning the form and content of accounts set out in the Charities (Accounts and Reports) Regulations 2008 other than any requirement that the accounts give a ‘true and fair’ view which is not a matter considered as part of an independent examination.
I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which attention should be drawn in this report in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
