City Players are going through a period of change which includes having a robust review of our outgoings, specifically running costs.
Gas, electricity, water and rent have all increased, with the rent increasing by 40% to over £400 per month. Therefore, we have changed many suppliers and are looking at further changes to ensure the money we spend is sustainable and hopefully future proofing our finances for years to come.
We have also had to deal with roof repairs due to weather damage.
Ticket sales overall have been a little disappointing but due to bar sales we were able to gain a profit over the year which we can reinvest into the theatre over the next 12 months.
