The Trustees present their report and the financial statements for the year ended 31May 2025 The Trustees who served-during the year and up to date for this report are set out on page 1 Structure, governance and management and management management : The trustees are elected every two years by the charity memebers

Objectives and activities

Objectives

To provide a place of worship and provide the advancement of the Islamic Faith as practised by the Sunni sect in Islam

Activities

The charity provides a place of worship to hundred of people, Facilities are provided for Islamic and Quranic studies for all age groups. Qualified teachers are employed to teach the classes. The madressa is open between 5 - 7.00pm where approximately 240 children study urdu and arabic. The trustees manage the charity on a volunteer basis and duties are alloctated on each rota basis. The main congregation takes place every Friday with the attendence of approximately 600 worshipers. Programmes are held around Islamic dates on which guests and speakers are invited. The worshipors make generous donations to the charity

Phase 5 - Minor internal and external building are ongoing which will provide better facilities with the support of the members and local community

Statement of trustees respontibilities

The Trustees are responsible for preparing the Annual report and the Financial Statement in accordance with applicable law and United Kingdom Generally Accepted Accounted Practice Law applicable to charities in England and Wales requires the trustees to prepare Financial statements for each Financial year which give a true and fair view of during charities Financial activities the year andofits financial position at the end of the year, In preparing Financial statements giving a true and fair view, the trustees are requires to

Select suitable accounting policies and then apply them consistently
Make judgements and estimates that are reasonable and prudent, and
Prepare the Financial statements on the going concern basis unless it is inappropriate to presume that the charity will continue in operation

The Trustees are resposible for keeping proper accounting records which disclose with reasonble accuracy at any time the Financial position of the charity and enable them to ensure that the Financial statements comply with the charities Act 2006. They are also responsible for safeguarding the assets of the charity and hence for taking reasonable steps for the prevention and detection of fraud and other irregularities.
