**Objects:** TO ESTABLISH AND MAINTAIN DIRECT LINKS BETWEEN THE TOWNS OF REDDITCH AND MTWARA WITH THE AIM OF ALLEVIATING POVERTY, ADVANCING EDUCATION AND IMPROVING FACILITIES FOR HEALTHCARE AND OTHER COMMUNITY PURPOSES OF A CHARITABLE NATURE IN MTWARA AND THE ENCOURAGEMENT OF DEVELOPMENT EDUCATION IN REDDITCH BY SUCH MEANS AS SHALL BE SO CALCULATED TO ACHIEVE THIS AIM FOR THE GENERAL BENEFIT OF THE COMMUNITIES OF THE SAID TOWNS."

**Activities:** Redditch is twinned with Mtwara in Tanzania. Town twining based on equality, knowledge and understanding through learning and personal involvement.  Activities include:  exchange visits, fundraising for projects in Mtwara and to bring Tanzanians from Mtwara to visit Redditch, also for secondaryschool fees for sponsored pupils (?1300 is sent out every year);  organising seminars on related topics.
