||Summary of the main<br>achievements of the charity,<br>identifying the difference the<br>charity’s work has made to<br>the circumstances of its<br>beneficiaries and any wider<br>benefits to society as a<br>whole.|The Scout Group has taken an active part in<br>the local Community during the period under<br>review.  We have made collections in the<br>village on behalf of the Poppy Appeal and<br>took part in the Remembrance Parade and<br>service.  The group organises an annual<br>Plant Sale for the village to enable those<br>unable to make a trip to the garden centre to<br>have their spring flowers delivered direct to<br>their door.<br>The young people who are members of the<br>group experience an engaging and varied<br>programme adhering to the Scouting<br>guidelines and policy such as adventure,<br>challenge, skills and creative that gives them<br>purpose and direction.  The options for<br>camping were limited due to covid but the<br>Beavers and Cubs did get on a weekend<br>camp in 2021. These kinds of experience of<br>nights away from home, either camping or in<br>bunkhouse, are beneficial to the<br>development of the young persons.|

|Performance of fundraising<br>activities against objectives<br>set|Within the period we were awarded Landfill<br>Tax Grant of £15,520 and COVID Support of<br>£10,000. The combined grants are for the<br>refurbishment and improvement of the scout<br>building. Unfortunately due to COVID and<br>lead times of subcontractors, the majority of<br>the work is still to be completed. The income<br>for the period will not match period of<br>expenditure which will show in the 2022<br>accounts.|
|Other|Due to the ongoing impact of COVID, many<br>of our fundraising activities did not take<br>place within the period.|
