**cases new members joining clubs.**
**4 members of a club represented the**
**Area at RHS Malvern Spring Show,**
**showcasing their skills and gaining a**
**Silver Medal.**
**Annual Social event held for members**
**which was very well attended and**
**enjoyed by all who came along. We had**
**a British Flower Grower as a speaker**
**who informed us of the new movement**
**within the country of growing British**
**Flowers and how we could support**
**them. Then a demonstration by one of**
**our own Demonstrators using the**
**British Flowers provided by the grower.**
**Some of our members then attended a**
**photo-shoot for the magazine The**
**Flower Arranger. Show casing their**
**skills and giving hints and tips for the**
**readers.**
**A Gonk workshop was held for**
**members which they then could take**
**back to their clubs and teach their**
**members. This was run by 2 of our own**
**committee members and was very**
**successful.**
**The Area ran a coach trip to the National**| **Show in Gloucester for members. 4 members had the privilege of going to Westminster Abbey and arranging the flowers for the Battle of Britain service. 2 members competed at RHS Malvern and gained a Gold and Best in Show. Other members of the Area also attended and gained medals and prizes.
