## **Sellafield Charity Snowball Chairman/Trustee Report 2023**
The Snowball continued to operate successfully and provided support to various good causes throughout the West Cumbria area. It was again noted that although the volume of requests has remained lower than before Covid, the amount of money being requested has increased. In response, we have had to make more partial awards than usual.
Inflation in the provision of the specialist equipment that we are asked to provide, usually outside the remit of the NHS or council providers, seems to race faster and further that ONS statistics would expect.
However, we continue to actively support local charities.
There were no significant changes to the volunteers who keep the Snowball going, and we continue to receive support from Sellafield Ltd.
