music genre especially to youngsters who have previously not heard

Achievements and performance
The band managed to 9et back to rehearsing in July 21 and pèrforming
at the end of 21. The band then went on to win Butlins contest and also
th8 area contest in Feb 22. R8hear8al8 and concerts have now returned
to normal.

## **Notes to Accounts:** 

Instrument Purchase:  One‐off purchases totalling £7,150 were made in the year replacing items lost in the van theft covered by insurance together with £3,600on soprano cornet which was subsequently refunded when returned. 

£2,440 shown in Misc expenditure was for Blackpool Hotels (Spring Festival) paid by band in this financial year, but recouped via player donations the following f/y.  In addition to this, £1,270 was also spent in this financial year (shown in Misc) for bandwear which was again recouped from players the following financial year.  Both were expended in March 2022.

Responsibilities and basis of report
As the charity trustees of the Trust you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in
accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 {'Ihe Act,). I report in respecl of
my examination of the Trust's accounts carried out under section 145 of Ihe 2011 Act and in
carrying out my examination I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity
Commission under section 145151{b) of the Act.
Independent examinerfs statement
I have completed my examination. I confi(m that no material matters have come to my
attention in connection with the examination giving me cause to believe that in any material
respect..
1. accounting records were not kept in respect of the Charity as required by section 130 of
the Act,. or
2. the accounts do not accord with those records" or
3. the accounts do not comply with the applicable requirements Cor)￿[nIng the form and
content of accounts set OLII in the Chaflties (Accounts and Reports) Regulations 2008 other
than any requirement that the accounts give a 'lrue and fair view which is not a matter
considered as part of an independent examination_
I have no Concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the
examination to which altention should be drawn in this report in order to enable a proper
