There is a child protection policy in place. Disclosure and Barring
Service checks are carried out prior to commencement of employment or
trusteeship and checks are carried out again in line with statutory

The Preschool has formed close links with John Blow Primary school
which is the feeder school in the village of Collingham and the wider
district. Afterschool and summer activities are jointly delivered within the
primary school grounds

Collingham and District Preschool offers a dynamic and family friendly
learning environment in the heart of our community.
Staff work closely with parents and families to provide a curriculum
tailored to each child’s needs.
Children are offered an experience rich education, making the most of
the many learning opportunities available to us through the people and
facilities in our local area.
Staff plan for their key children, taking into account their interests and
preferred play choices, but also introducing new cultural and diverse
activities to teach children about the world beyond their experience.
We work closely with our local Primary school, John Blow School, to
ensure that children are prepared and ‘school ready’ and that they have
a smooth transition into full time education.

charity (“the Trust”) for the year ended 31/08/2023.
As the charity's trustees, you are responsible for the preparation of the
accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011
(“the Act”).
I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out
under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I
have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission
