**Objects:** THE RELIEF AND ASSISTANCE OF POOR AND NEEDY PERSONS IRRESPECTIVE OF COLOUR RACE OR CREED AND FOR THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION INCLUDING THE ALLEVIATION OF POVERTY AMONG AND RE-TRAINGING OF UNEMPLOYED PERSONS AND FOR ANY CHARITABLE PURPOSES AS ARE BENEFICIAL TO THE COMMUNITY IN THE DIOCESE OF LIVERPOOL AND FOR THE BENEFIT OF SUCH INSTITUTIONS AND SOCIETIES AS THE TRUSTEES MAY FROM TIME TO TIME SELECT.

**Activities:** The Trust makes small grants to individuals in the Anglican Diocese of Liverpool who are attending second chance learning through Further Education establishments, including ESOL programmes. Grants are for the books or equipment the individual needs for their educational courses or training programmes.
