The club has robust policies and procedures. Recognised by the Faw,
Boys’ and Girls’ clubs of Wales, our constitution is very comprehensive covering all aspects of the club from child welfare, discrimination, health and safety to financial good practice.
We the club has four main roles, chairman, secretary, treasurer, welfare officer. we have team leaders, volunteers , and the most important of all the members .We are associated to the Boys Girls of Wales and the Football association of Wales .

The club’s main objective is to facilitate after school activities and sporting activities for young people from the age of 5 to 19 years of age. These activities include football teams, martial arts, weight training, and basketball .The club runs a youth club where the members play darts , pool, table tennis computer games and generally meet and socialise. The club building also acts as a community hall for community events. **Boys Girls club itself !**
The club’s main objective is to facilitate after school activities and sporting activities for young people from the age of 5 to 19 years of age. These activities include football teams, martial arts, weight training, and basketball. The club runs a youth club where the members play darts, pool, table tennis computer games and generally meet and socialise. The last two years have been the most challenging time for the club since it was established in 1997, due to the covid 19, in fact the club as were all establishments like ours were closed during the first year of the pandemic!
But! we survived and are serving our community and through the above club activities our young people can take part in these sporting activities and gain the benefits that sport brings i.e., wellbeing, fitness, health, social skills, and a purpose in life. **Community hall.**
The hall facilitates community groups such as weight watchers, sewing groups, walking group, keep fit groups, dance class, children’s parties. All helping to bring community together and gain the purpose in life, meeting people and socialising and therefore improving wellbeing.

## Section D Achievements and performance
**Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year**
2020/ 2021 was the most challenging years for everyone due to covid.
During this time, we were closed for long periods, when we started back again many community members were cautious to return and unfortunately some groups have not returned! The very fact we have reopened and have attracted some new groups is a major achievement in itself!
But I would say the major achievements over 2020 to 2022 has been the Welsh repair grant we received, the reopening of the youth club itself facilitated by the Rhondda council yep’s service which generates our main source of income from an individual group. And I must say our football section is facilitating well over 100 young people which we are very pleased with!

As our building is a large old Welsh chapel in the event of major emergency works, we reserve 16,000 in our account for such events. As a matter of policy we try and keep our outgoings and income at roughly the same amount, and where possible not to let our account go below that figure.

Our charities principal / only! source of income is room hire!
We spend our income on club activities but mostly on energy and insurance ang general running costs.
