As the charity trustees you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (the Act)

I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination giving me cause to believe that in any material respect

  2. The accounts do not accord with those records

I have no concerns and come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which attention should be drawn in this report in order to enable proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.

Report of the trustees for the year ending 31 August 2022

The trustees of Knowle Church of England Primary School Parents’ Association present their annual report and audited accounts for the year ended 31 august 2022 and confirm that they comply with the relevant requirements. The accounts have been prepared on a receipts and payments basis.

Our Aims

The Parents’ Association aims to raise money for Knowle CE Primary Academy School, through a variety of fundraising events and activities throughout the school year. These activities can be for children / parents and families to enjoy. All money raised is donated to school at regular intervals.

Review of Activities

During the year ending 31 August 2022 a number of fundraising events took place. The main events were:

All events are run by volunteers, who are parents of children who attend Knowle CE Primary Academy School.

Finances

During the financial year (March 2021 – August 2022) £36, 263 was raised. After costs were deducted this provided a surplus of £21 973. Due to an accumulated fund brought forward from last year Knowle Primary Academy received £31, 400. This was spent on trips, new technology and books.

On 31 August 2022 the bank balance is £39, 870.
