Report of the Trustees for the year ending 31 March 2020
The trustees of the Knowle Church of England Primary School parents association present their annual report and audited accounts for the year ended 31 March 2020 and confirm they comply with the relevant requirements. The accounts have been prepared on a receipts and payments basis.
Our Aims
The parents association aims to raise money through a variety of fund raising activities during the school year. These activities can be for children, families or parents to enjoy. All money raised is then donated, at regular intervals, to Knowle Primary Academy.
Review of Activities
During the year ending 31 March 2020 a large number of fund raising activities took place. The main events being

The Christmas Fayre

The Summer Fayre

Fireworks event

Parents’ ball
-
Numerous school discos
The parents association also received funds from donations, sponsorship and match funding
All events are run by volunteers, who are parents from Knowle Primary Academy.
Finances
During the financial year £39,078 was raised. This provided a surplus of £22,439 after costs were deducted.
Knowle Primary Academy received £2,800 during this period. This money was spent primarily on library supplies and individual classroom small items.
At the 31 March 2020 the bank balance is £52,488.
