Progress Towards Becoming a CIO This year maths a significant milestone for our association as we stand on th8 dawn of becoming a Charitsble Incorporated Organisation (CIO). This tranwtion wll enable us to fvrther Strengthen our govemance, expand our reach, and enhance the efficiency of our operations. As we embark on this new chapter, V￿ reaffimi our commilment to serving bolh our local and global communities greater efficacy and impacL Humanitarian Aid and Global Support During the pasi year 12023-2024), our assoaation has aclively partiapated in global relief eff¢xts. Our response to various humanitarian crises induded-. .P8kist8n Floods Relief Effortr. We played a direct role in the development of homes for those atte¢ted by the devastating floods in Pakistan, ensuring long4erm stability for displace(J families. .Moroccan Earthquake Relief.. Our team was present on the ground to deliver 8id firsthand tr) affected communities, providing much-needed support in the aftermath of the disaster. .Turkey-Syria Earthquake Assistance.. In ￿lIabr￿ation wth our partners, Islami¢ Relief, we provided aid to famili88 who suffered losses during this cataslrophic event. .India Food Distribution: As part of our 8nnual Fitrana distribution, we were able to support more than 1500 families wllh food parcels that had provrsions to cater for a lanNly for 8 month. Local Community Engagement and Development In addition to our global initiatives. our efforts at homa have expanded significantty- .Chlldren's Sermces Expansion.. We have broadened our seNices for young people, wth special attention to young girfs from BAME backgrounds through initiatives like 'Wld Cats" {football for girls under the age of 13). aimad at empowgring and engaging them in sports and community actiwties. .'Warm Welcome" Iniliative: Our premises have served as a designated site for the 'Wami Welcome" project, providing safe and warm space for individuals facing hardship during the colder months. .Community Engagement & Peacebuilding.. Over the past 18months. we have proactively engaged with police, politiclans, council members, and other stakeholders to maintain peace 8n(i social hamiony, particularly considering heightened tensions related to events in the Mid¢Jle East. Religious, Sooal, and Welfare AGtivities Bèsides the day-tovday running of the Masjid a￿1 Madrassah. our association, in cK)llaboration various 5ub<omrnittees, has orchesttated a diverse array of activities- .Religious & Educational Events.. Hosted at Masjid Al Falaah, these included educational speeches, Ramadan programs, and an annual religious gathering for families. We have added a monthly retreat for young peoplè are able to enjoy learning new subjects in a fun and activity driven environment. -Ramadan, Eid and Eid Mela Celebrations.. Our flagship events during the year revolve around the month of Ramadan when we host a congregation of nearly 1000 people every night. At sunset we organise meals every n￿ht for Iftar. We host more than 20QJ people on the 271h night and subsequenuy on day of Eid marking the end of fasting month. .Marriage & Bereavernent SupporL' We facilitaled combined Civl and Nikah marriage ceremonies and provided crucial funeral support in accordance with government guidelines. .Fgod Bank & Homeless Support Our Outreach Team Flayed a vitsl rcle in oper*ing a food bank. distributing essentials to 2of14

The "Feed the Homeless" initsative continued wÉth the distribution of hot meals ￿ce a week in Bimiingham city centre, as well as support for wornen's refuge. We distributed MO￿ than a l￿Ofood parcels I0￿11Y in Bimiingham to families that are slruggling with food deprivation. This aso includes provision of more than 1000kilos of meat along with these food parcels. .Sports & Youth Engagement. Our sports offerings induded Karate dasses for children aged 6t0 16. and we successfully launched a Scouts program affiliated the National Scouts, attracting great interest from the communlty. . Facilities, Financial and Operabonal Management Th8 Site Manag8ment Team has ensured that our premises remain well-maintained, carying out necessary repairs and meeting legal requirements for safety certifications. Our commitinent to providing a safe and healihy environment remains steadfast. As a responsible organlsation, the financlal stsbillty accountsbilty is at the forefront of our setup. All our financial transactions are undertaken within a ¥trict suuiinised finanaal contrd mechanism that is VKII docurnented and audiled on a regular ba61s. Sumrnary The trustee8 express their satisfaGtion with the servi￿5 provided and rernain commiited to ensuring the well-being of the wider community. We endorse the financial reports and the trustees, report for the 2023-2024 period for submission to the Charity Commi88ion.
