**Objects:** TO ENCOURAGE RESEARCH AND INTERCHANGE OF INFORMATION IN OBSTETRICS AND GYNAECOLOGY, AND THE PROMOTION OF KNOWLEDGE IN THE SCIENCE OF REPRODUCTIVE BIOLOGY IN A MANNER WHICH NOW IS, OR HEREAFTER MAY BE DEEMED BY LAW TO BE CHARITABLE.

**Activities:** The aim of the Society is to encourage research, especially for more junior researchers, and the interchange of ideas and information in obstetrics and gynaecology through sponsorship of scientific meetings and award of student prizes. Membership is open to both clinical and non-clinical scientists.
