Activities
STEC delivers Community Engagement, Adult and Community Learning, Community Support Projects, Managed Office Space and Business Support on a Social Enterprise basis, to promote inclusion, employability, lifelong learning and sustainability, with focus upon deprived communities in South Liverpool (eg Speke / Garston)
Objects: (I) To Advance Education And Relieve Need Among Young And Other Unemployed Persons Resident In The Area Defined Through The Provisions (Save In Exceptional Circumstances For A Period Not Exceeding 2 Years In The Case Of Any One Individual) Of Gainful Employment And Of Such Training Facilities As Will Enable Such Persons As Aforesaid To Acquire And Develop Voca-Tional Skills; (Ii) To Train And Education Young Persons Resident In The Area Through Their Leisure-Time Activities And Through The Provision Of Experience Of Regular Work For Such Persons Who Would Otherwise Be Unemployed So To Develop Their Physical, Mental And Spiritual Capacities That The May Grow To Full Maturity As Individuals And Members Of Society And That Their Conditions Of Life May Be Improved, (Iii) To Promote Any Charitable Purpose In The Area In Particular Charitable Purposes Directed To The Benefit Of The People Suffering Through Unemployment The Advancement Of Educa-Tion, The Prevention Of Ill-Health, The Relief Of Poverty, Distress And Sickness And Charitable Purposes Connected With The Improvement Of The Environment Of The Area.
