Summary of the purposes of the charity as set out in its governing document	Para 1.17	The provision and maintenance of a village hall for the use of the inhabitants of Aberdovey and the neighbourhood, thereof without distinction of political, religious or other opinion, including use for meetings, lectures and classes and for other forms of recreation and leisure- time occupation, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.
Summary of the main activities in relation to those purposes for the public benefit, in particular, the activities, projects or services identified in the accounts.	Para 1.17 and 1.19	The charity delivers a community reading room, quiet space for the general public and members to utilise to read newspapers that are delivered everyday apart from Sundays. The reading room can be hired our for meetings by local groups or private hire. It also has the facility of snooker tables for amateur sport, with winter leagues played. These facilities are for the benefit of visitors and members and the local community.

Para 1.20	The main achievements this year were significant improvements in the fire and electric safety for the property to bring it up to standard whilst maintaining the building and hence delivering on its objective to provide a community reading room, quiet space for the general public and members to utilise to read newspapers that are delivered everyday apart from Sundays, a functional meeting space for local groups, and a snooker venue for the local community. Financial achievements were that we achieved membership and donation targets.
