Spending
Discussions between the Trustees have taken, and will continue to take, place before agreeing the nature and level of donation that will be made to The School that year. The trustees closing the year, are:
-
i. Mr Nick Smith (Headteacher)
-
ii. Ms Leigh-Angel Bevan (Chair)
-
iii. Mrs Susannah Gorman (Secretary)
-
iv. Mr Richard Crail (Treasurer)
The last year has primarily focused on the provision of musical workshops in the school and the ongoing development of the Wildflower Meadow. This funding totalled £7,204 for the year 2023-2024.
The PTA has also funded low-income families to attend events throughout the year reinforcing the School’s ethos of inclusivity.
For this coming year, the PTA intends to continue to fund music workshops and will develop Grove Mount field, with the Wildflower Garden growing and a running track being marked out. There is also funding put aside for the provision of markings to make traffic around the school a safer place.
I am happy to conclude that the PTA’s finances are in a healthy state, and that the PTA should be in a position to continue to fund projects in 2023-24. To that end, the Trustees have set a target of £25,000.
