Overview
The Bromsgrove and District Young Farmers Club is a charty registered with the Charities Commission
and is governed by its constitution which was adopted on 30 September 1961. The constitution
requires that the Trustees are appointed annually by the club's members.
Objectives and activities
The chariws objectives are to advance the education of young members of the public at large in
agriculture, home crafts, country life and related subjects and in the interest of social welfare of
such members to provide and promote the provision of facilities for recreation and other leisure
occupations. being facilities which will improve their conditions of life and will assist in the
development of their spiritual and mental capacities, self-reliance and individual responsibility SO that
they may grow to full maturity as individuals and members of the community.
Achievement and perfomiance
The charity has pursued its objectives by holding social activities and training and by entering relevant
competitons. The net receipts for the year are shown on Page 3. In planning the activities for the year.
the Trustees have kept in mind the Charity Commission's guidance on public benefit.
Reserves policy
The Trustees would like to maintain the liquid reserves and any surplus will automatically be put back
into reserves and hence become available for the satisfaction of its charitable objectives
Risk review
The Trustees are constantly reviewing the major risks to which the charity is exposed and systems and
policies have been implemented to mitigate these risks.

STATEMENT OF TRUSTEES RESPONSIBILITIES
We are required under the constitution of the club to prepare financial statements for each financial
year which give a true and fair view of the state of affairs of the club and of the surplus or deficit of
the club for that period. In preparing those financial ststement, we are required to..
Select suitable accounting policies and apply them consistently.
Make reasonable and prudentjudgements and estimates
Prepare the financial statements on the going concern basis unless it is inappropriate to
assume that the club will continue to pursue its objects.
We are also responsible for:
Keeping proper accounting records.
Safeguarding the club's assets.
Taking reasonable steps towards the prevention and detection of fraud.

I report to the charity Injslees on my examination of the accounts of Bromsgrove Young
Farmèrs Club for the year ended 31 August 2024.
Responsibilitie5 and basi$ of report
As the charity trustees of the Trust you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in
accordance wlh the Tequirements of the ChaTlties Act 2011 (kne ACVI.
I report in respect of my examination of the Trust's accounts carried out under Section 145 of
the Act and in carrying Out my examination I have followed all appllcable Directions given by
the Charity Comfflission under Section 14515llbl of the Act

Since your charity's gross income exceeded £25,DOO your examiner must be a member of a
listed body. I can confim that l am qualified to undertake the examlnation because l am a
ember of the Instslute of Chartered A¢countsnts in England and Wales, which is one of the
listed bodies
I have completed my exarninalion. I confirni that no material rnatters have come lo my
attention in connection with the examination giving me cause to believe that in any matsrial
respect:
accounting records were not kept in respect of the Trust as requirad by Section
130 of the Act", or

ending 31 August 2024, the following representations were rnade to you by
management and Trustees
We acknowledge as Trustees our responsibilities under the Charities Act 2011
for making accurate representations to you and for the accounts which you have
prepared for the club.
We confirni that all the accounting records have been made available to you for
the purpose of your preparation of our financial statements, in accordance with
your temis of engagement, and all the transactions undertaken by the club have
been properly reflected and recorded in the accounting records. All other
records and related inforn]ation, including minutes of all management and
committee meetings, have been made available to you. We have provided any
additional inf0m￿tIOn that you have requested.
We confirni that the club had no liabilities or contingent liabilities other than
those disclosed in the accounts.
We confinn that there have been no events since the balance sheet date which
require disclosing or which would materially affect the amounts in the financial
statement, other than those already disclosed or included in the financial
statements.
We confirm that the tangible assets held by the club are adequately insured.
We confirnl that the club has had, at no time during the period, any
arrangement, transaction or agreement to provide credit facilities (including
loans, quasi-loans, or credit transactions) for Trustees, nor to guarantee nor
provide security for such matters, except as already disclosed in the financial
statements.

We confirni that the club has not contracted for any capital expenditure other
than as disclosed in the financial statements.
We confTh we are not aware of any possible or actual instance of non-
compliance with those laws and regulations which provide a legal framework
within which the club conducts its business and which are central to the club's
ability to conduct its busAness except as disclosed to you and as disclosed in the
fmancial ststements.
We acknowledge our responsibility for the design and implementation of
controls to prevent and detect fraud.
10 We confinn that there have been no actual or suspected instances of fraud
involving management or employees who have a significant role in internal
control or that could have a material effect on the fmancial statements. We also
confirn] that we are not aware of any allegations of fraud by fornier employees,
regulators or others.

12 We Confinn that the club meets the requirements for exemptions from
corporation tax or VAT liabilities.
13 We confirni that all related party transactions with Trustees and participating
interests are considered to bc under nornial market conditions. We confirni that
we are aware that a related party of th¢ club is a person or organisation which
either (directly or indirectly) controls, has joint control of, or significantly
influences the club or vice versa and as a result will include: Trustees, other key
managemenL close family and other business interests of the previous.

course of your work:
