The preservation and operation of two horizontal steam engines, boilers and other equipment that formerly supplied the communities of Stoke-on-Trent and Newcastle-under-Lyme with water for 60 years.Also the preservation and display of other artefacts associated with the Staffordshire Potteries Water Board and the water supply industry.

To Secure And Undertake The Benefit Of The Public The Preservation Restoration Enhancement And Maintenance Of The Mill Meece Pumping Station Near Stafford Together With The Engines Machinery Plant Tools And Acillary Equipment Now Used And Formerly Used In Connection With The Operation Of The Station. 2. To Establish A Museum For The Preservation And Desplay Of Engines Machinery Articles Relics And Documents.
