I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above
chanty ("the Trust.) for the year ended

## Coronation Hall 

## Trustee’s Report 2025/26 

This year has been very busy with bookings, we lost two yoga classes due to retirement, but have gained two classes for babies and toddlers. Generation Dance have been very busy during the year, booking five nights per week plus weekend events, and we welcome Caitlin to our committee. 

North Yorkshire Council have paid for two major projects this year. The kitchen and the bar were completely refurbished by Norton Interiors 

The other project lead by Jonathan was to solve the problem of the leaking roof light. This needed the hall to be closed while a massive scaffolding structure filled the hall. 

We have improved the AV equipment which means that the microphone works all over the hall and computers talk much more easily to the system. 

Jonathan commissioned a Fire Safety audit and the report has given us a number of items to do to make the hall as safe as possible including clearing out under the stage. 

Also I have to thank the other Trustees and members of the Management Committee for their help and interest over the year., especially Barbara who is retiring this year and has been our minutes secretary as well as representing the WI.
