|Summary of the main<br>achievements of the charity,<br>identifying the difference the<br>charity’s work has made to<br>the circumstances of its<br>beneficiaries and any wider<br>benefits to society as a<br>whole.|Para 1.20|Our events throughout the year have<br>continued to delivery our charitable<br>objectives, these include…<br>- Our first farm-based Harvest Festival with<br>approximately 200 members from across<br>the county attending. We collected for local<br>foodbank and gave thanks for the harvest.<br>-Our Annual County Rally was an incredibly<br>well attended, the first rally back since<br>COVID after two cancelled year and we<br>welcomed thousands through the gate. The<br>day was a fantastic showcase for the skills<br>of the membership and a brilliant<br>opportunity to engage with the public and<br>show of the best of the Young Farmers.<br>-With the support of the Farm and<br>Community Network (FCN), we put on our<br>very first Agri Debate, welcoming five very<br>accomplished panellists to discuss topics<br>including agricultural education and rural<br>wellbeing. As the federation looks to<br>expand its Agri provision, we look forward<br>to the appointment of an AGRI Coordinator<br>who will build on the steps put in place over<br>the last year.<br>-We were also delighted to receive the ‘Top<br>Trainer Award’ at the NFYFC AGM. This<br>trophy is awarded to the county which<br>delivers the most training session to<br>members on topics including Social Media,|





Farm Safety, Mental Health, Safe Driving and many more. The past year has seen a 26% increase in membership across the county (430 to 586). LFYFC is committed to effecting positive changes that increase provisions for the membership, further charitable goals, improve efficiencies and improve compliance.

This was due to funds<br>being diverted to support clubs’ rebuild<br>following the covid pandemic.<br>We were able to fund this loss from our<br>reserves and from the profit of the previous<br>year.|
