**Objects:** THE AIMS OF THE SOCIETY SHALL BE:- 1) TO PROMOTE AND ENCOURAGE THE PUBLIC STUDY OF BRITISH FAMILY HISTORY,GENEALOGY, HERALDRY AND LOCAL HISTORY. 2) TO PROMOTE THE PRESERVATION,SECURITY AND ACCESSIBILITY OF ARCHIVAL MATERIAL.
