Objectives and Activities
The aims of Tenbury Young Farmers Club is to support members of the farming community and the wider local community. The Club raises funds to operate its activities and to make donations to charitable causes that benefit the local area.
During the year, the Club continued to provide opportunities for members to take part in community events and fundraising activities. A significant development was the Club taking over the organisation of the Tenbury Bonfire Night event from the former Round Table. This ensures that the event continues to benefit the local community and supports the charitable work previously carried out by Tenbury Round Table.
Achievements and Performance
The Club successfully organised fundraising activities throughout the year, including Bingo, Quiz and bonfire preparations for and delivery of the Bonfire Night event. Funds raised have been used to support the running of the Club, to enter competitions and to make donations to local charities and community causes, helping to continue the Club's charitable objectives.
Financial Review
The trustees are satisfied that the Club's financial position remains appropriate to support its charitable activities. Income received during the year was used to meet the costs of running the Club and to further its charitable objectives through donations and community events. Full details of the Club's income, expenditure, assets and liabilities are included in the accompanying accounts.
