Independent Examiners, Report l)Trustees' Re ort It h3s been an exceptional year for the Trust Fund because of our offer to continue to facilitato the banking for a projett that operated across c.66 Rotary clubs in the Rotary District 1220 to which we belong, and also sorne other Districts, Rotsry Clubs. The project- Rotsry4foodbanks, resulted in our income growing substantially. As these financial statements show, our traditional club activities generated an income of £10,710-83. In addition the Rotary4foodbanks project generated an income of £121,083-50 resulting in a total income of £131,794-33. Thi5 projett occurred as a result of the Covid 19 pandemic and was implemented at high speed following the initial lockdown. The ROt3ry￿fO0dbanks projert oought to provide foodbank5 in our District with a price compeTiiive source of food and enhanced financial support from Rotary Foundation to the foodbanks. Independent Market Research has confirmed the merit of the project. In view of this increased leve5 of attivity the Club Treasurer reviewed financial operating procedures with the co-ordinator of the projett the ensure that all funds could be Tully accounted for. The 3 trustees and the Examiners of accounts were provided with a full 5 page printout out of the spreadsheets for the Trust Fund. The operating basis of the project was:_ Rotary Clubs nominated partiClP3ting foodbanks. The project team sort and received donations from Rotary Clubs, the Rotary Foundation and other individuals. These funds were used LO purchase food stocks which were then delivered to individual roodbank5.
