|||||appreciation<br>ofthe work undertaken<br>by livestock farmers.||
|||||Some members<br>practiced organisational<br>skills<br>in organising<br>and hosting the||
|||||Harrogate<br>District Rally, an event which brings together a number<br>of local clubs.||
|||||Those who did not participate<br>in its organisation<br>took part in the day' s||
|||||activities, practicing<br>rural skills such as crafts, metalwork,<br>cookery, stockjudging,||
|||||clay shooting<br>and sports.||
|||||The club's Tractor Run Committee<br>ensured the club as a whole was involved|in|
|||||the organisation<br>of Britain's largest tractor run, which annually<br>raises in the||
|||||region ofF20,000for the Yorkshire<br>Air Ambulance<br>and provides<br>a spectacle and||
|||||often a carnival atmosphere<br>for the local communities<br>it passes through,||
|||||culminating<br>in an event on the Showground<br>at Pateley Bridge which stimulates||
|||||focal tourism<br>by drawing<br>huge crowds to the town<br>in the off-peak season.||
