We shared information about all Hindu festivals celebrated in the Mandir by distributing leaflets using IOthatsApp and through three active women's groups.. 60+ Mahila Mandal, and Radha Krishna, as well as among volunteers. Shree Ram Mandir welcomed visits from local schools in the Borough to enhance understanding of Hindu culture and religion. More than 200 children visited the Mandir last year. p8.1
Parents and children participated in SEWA DAY" to assist with environmental efforts by cleaning the local area. Additionally, during the Diwali celebrations, complimentary food and snacks were provided to the staff, nurses, and doctors at Manor Hospital In appreciation of their dedication and service to the community. Stat8m8nt confirming whether the trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit Para 1.18 Prominent Indian spiritual leader Shree Chinmayand Bapu conducted the Satya Narayan Bhagwat Katha. The funds raised will support a shelter for orphans, focusing on their wellbeing and education. The initiative aims to encourage lifelong skills and provide training opportunities to enhance the community's capabilities. An excellent public response wa8 received with voluntary support in all areas of event organizing. %• Hall bookings have reduced dramatically since Covid. This was our main source of income. There has been a notable increase in the attendance of devotees at the temple during festival celebrations, attributed to the efforts of the management committee and volunteers. There is a strong focus on offering companionship and enhancing mobility through stretch exercise classes conducted by a qualified professional. (1) Bhartiya Mahila Mandal, which meets on Tuesday afternoons (2) Radha Krishna Group, which meets on Wednesday evenings. The youth club operates on Friday evenings to attract more young members. Various sporting activities are offered. These activities are organized by volunteers who dedicate significant time and effort to plan events and facilitate participation in festivals. The increase in donations is attributed to greater public support and improved organization of festival events. •* Due to old building maintenance cost are high. Other expenses are higher than previous year because of higher inflation of cost of living. Statement explaining the policy for holding reserves stating why they are held PAr4 1.22 The primary source of income from hall bookings has diminished over time, and as the building ages, mainlenance costs are rising significantly. The roof currently has multiple leaks and require8 replacement, which will be a substantial undertaking. Temporary repairs have been made to the roof. Additionally, the heating system in the dining hall needs to be updated. The committee is evaluating whether a budget can be allocated for this high-cost project in the near future.
