|How the charity is constituted|The Fourth Dimension Trust is a Company limited by guarantee. It|
||is also registered with the Charity Commission as a Charity.|
||Membership of the Fourth Dimension Trust is drawn from twelve|
||churches serving Huyton, a district of the Borough of Knowsley in|
||Merseyside.|
|Trustee selection and Trust management|Our member churches may nominate annually u p to two|
||representatives to serve on our Council ofManagement Up to four|
||additional Members of Council may be elected by Trust members at|
||ourAnnual General Meeting. Our current practice is that each|
||member of our Council of Management is normally registered both|
||as a Charity Trustee and a Company Director. The Council of|
||Management normally meets six to eight times p e r year to|
||administer the day−to−day activities of the Trust.|
|Consideration o f major risks|Matters relating t o Health and Safety Issues, Fire Service|
||requirements, Trading Standards' regulations and other risks|
||related to our principal activities are undergoing review−both|
||internally and with outside advisors.|
|**Objectives a n d activities**||

||the Christian faith in England and overseas and in particular the|
||relief of poverty, distress and sickness.|
||Our aid shall be directed first to the developing countries and the|
||third world, secondly t o the Huyton and Merseyside area and|
||subsequently t o any area of special need."|
|Main activities in relation t o these objectives|Our funds are raised almost entirely through the sale of goods and|
||refreshments a t o u r Charity Shop located in Huyton village.|
||All w h o w o r k in o u r shop are members of o u r Trust giving their|
||time as volunteers.|
||The principal donation w e make each year goes via Christian Aid|
||towards water projects in Africa. Smaller donations are made to a|
||rangeo f local charities as nominated byourvolunteerss who work|
||in the shop.|
