**Objects:** THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN THE STUDY, PRACTICE AND APPRECIATION OF THE ART OF MUSIC AND THE ALLIED ARTS, AND IN PARTICULAR (BUT WITHOUT PREJUDICE TO THE GENERALITY OF THE FOREGOING) MUSIC OF THE MEDIEVAL, RENAISSANCE AND BAROQUE PERIODS.

**Activities:** MEMF promotes the interest in, and practice of, "Early Music" within the Midlands area.  This involves the organisation of regular workshops to play music.  MEMF also produces regular Newsletters to keep members informed of activities and events that would interest them.
