Objects: (a) To Promote The Benefit Of The Inhabitants Of That Part Of The City Of Leeds Known As Burley, Leeds And Neighbourhood (hereinafter Called 'the Area Of Benefit') Without Distinction Of Race, Sex Or Of Political, Religious Or Other Opinion;(b) To Advance Education Among The Inhabitants Of The Area Of Benefit;(c) To Provide Facilities In The Interests Of Social Welfare For The Inhabitants Of The Area Of Benefit;(d) To Provide Facilities For Recreation And Leisure Time Occupation For The Inhabitants Of The Area Of Benefit;(e) To Associate Local Authorities, Voluntary Organisations And The Inhabitants In Common Effort To Improve The Conditions Of Life In The Area Of Benefit And To Further Any Other Charitable Purpose For The Benefit Of The Said Inhabitants;(f) To Acquire, Establish Or Secure The Establishment Of A Centre And To Maintain And Manage Or To Co-Operate With Any Local Statutory Authority Or Any Voluntary Organisation In The Maint-Registration Date Enance And Management Of Such A Centre For Activities Promoted By Or On Behalf Of The Latest Amendment Company Or Its Members.
