TRUSTEES. REPORT
FOR THE YEAR ENDED 31 DKEM8ER 2025
The tnistees present their annual report and financial statements forthe yEar ended 31 Oecember 2025.
Obiective5 and arti¥ities
Publicbenefft
In planning for the year. the Charity Commission's guidance on wblic benefit wa5 kept in mind. The focus of the
activities remain to be the provision of a building for the use by all pe￿On5 in the Holbeach district without
discrimination for all activitres including health. educational. social and recreational.
The trustees confirrn that they have complied with the requirements of section 17 of the CharitiesAct 2011 to
have due regard to the public benefft guidance published by the Charity Commission for England and Wales.
Structure. governan￿ and managemert
Na￿re of governing document
Holbeach and Districr Cornmunity A5s0¢iation is a Charity governed by a lease and trust deed dated 25 April
1983.
Financial instruments
Obje(tives ondpolicies
The charity's activities expose tt to a number of financial rlsks induding credit risK cash flow risk and liquidity
risk. The use of financial derivative5 is govemed by the char￿$ policles approved by the board of trustees.
which provide written principles on the use of financial derivatives to manage these Tisks. The charity does not
use derivative financial instmments for speculative purp￿$.
Creditrisk
The charity's principal financial assets are bank balances and cash. trade and other recervables, and
investments.
The charity's credtt risk is primarily attributab￿ to its trade reCelwab￿. The amounts presental in the balance
sheet are net of allowances for doubtFul receivables. An alkjwance for impairment is made where there is an
identified loss event which. based on previous experience, is evidence of a reduttion in the recoverability of the
cash flows.
The credit risk on liquid funds and derivative financial instmments is limited because the counterparbes are
banks with high crèdit-fatings assigned by interrbational credit-ratin8 a8encie5.
The charity has no significant concentration of credit risk, wtth exposure spread over a large nunkner of
counterpartie5 and eustorne￿.
The trustees, report was approved by the Board of Trustees.
