D. Achievements and Performance

Although the use of the Centre was still affected by the impact of Covid during the early months of the year, it was pleasing to see hirings increase back to something like pre-pandemic levels by the summer. Unfortunately, some of our previous regular hiring groups did not continue after the break for Covid, but we have had lots of interest from new groups for regular hirings and party bookings, ensuring we have a wide variety of regular activities taking place at the Centre.

The proposed continuation of our plans to further improve and update the facilities at the Centre has been put on hold this year, hopefully the availability of the relevant materials and equipment required for this work will improve to facilitate this work being undertaken during the 2022/2023 financial year.

The Centre continues to be a valuable local resource which is being used by many people from our local communities. With the positive recovery in usage after the impact of the Covid pandemic and the very positive feedback we receive from all those that use the Centre, we continue to be optimistic about the long term future.
