**Objects:** AN ANNUAL BURSARY TO BE AWARDED TO A STUDENT OR STUDENTS AT A SCHOOL WITHIN THE BOUNDARIES OF THE WOLVERHAMPTON METROPOLITAN BOROUGH WHO IN THE OPINION OF THE TRUSTEES HAS ACHIEVED THE BEST OVERALL PERFORMANCE BASED ON CLASS ASSESSMENT EXAMINATION AND PRACTICAL ACCOMPLISHMENT TO ENABLE SUCH STUDENT TO ENTER FURTHER EDUCATION TO PURSUE THEIR MUSICAL STUDIES AND WHERE EVIDENCE OF PERSONAL NEED IS PRESENT.
