WEST HALLAM COMMUNtrYcENTRE ANNUAL REPORT APRIL 2026 The West Hallam Communily Centre Management Team are delighted to report that following the new roof which was completed in late 2024 thanks to a local resident who left a legacy in her will, additional work has continued over the last yea¥ to improve and upgrade this much lovÈd and well used community facility. Regutar users and those familiar with the building will have noticed the installation of 2 new main entrance door, improved drainage at the front of the Centre. addition81 ramp for access. white lining of the car parking area with designated spaces and a new sign advising of the use of the car park. The plan for the Springlsummer istototally redecorate the interior of the Centre to make it look and feel flesher and welcoming. The Team believe they have spent the legacy wisely and hope residents and users are 8ppreciative of the changes. Following the redecorating It will be an opportunity to formally acknowledge our benefactor with a small cel&bration at th8 Centre. As the Centre is such a heavily used facility there is a need for constant maintenance workto ensure the building continues to be a safe space and all utilities are working and equipment is useable. The Centre is well used and particularly by regular Ioc21 groups and organisatlons. It is also used for private functions and events. It offers a fully fitted kit¢h8n. a sports hall and separate meeting room all at competitive rates.
