**Objects:** A VILLAGE HALL FOR THE USE OF THEE INHABITANTS OF THE PARISH OF PRESTON-UNDER SCAR IN THE COUNTY OF NORTH YORKSHIRE WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF POLITICAL, RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINIONS INCLUDING USE FOR MEETINGS, LECTURES AND CLASSES AND FOR THE OCCUPATION WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE SAID INHABITANTS.

**Activities:** Our purpose is to provide entertainment and an opportunity for socialising in a village where there is no pub, shop or other place for villagers to meet up.  We have a structured programme of events and add to these throughout the year as we feel the village would like.  These include a weekly soup gathering, harvest supper, christmas party, summer feast, quiz nights and others
