Section D
Achievements and performance
Summary ofthe maln
achievements of the charlty
durlng the year
Unfortunately our fundraising acb"vttses have been curbed this year due to
the conbnuation of the Covid - 19 pandemic. We have therefore been
even more grateful for funds received from the TLC Lottery and from
Your School Lottery. We have also received donations from many
families and individuals. We continue to look for ways of raising money in
new ways.
Autumn Terni 2020
Volunteers were able to create a slightly cut down grotto to give some
semblance of nom￿lrtY to the scho)I's Christmas ath'vrties.
Our other actr'vth"es this temi were based around Christmas. Santa and 2
of his elves visrted school one moming to welcome the children off the
buses in a COVID safe way and a￿A)MPanIed by Christmas music. He
Ihen delrvered dass presents to all the classes around sthool.
Friends also funded ￿aCkerS. balloons and hats for the Christmas
Dinner.
Sprfng and Summer Temi 2021
Our normal fundraising •Aivitses were not able to take place.
However. the on refuth'shing the Lcwer school bathroom did take
place and the youngest children now have a facility which is frt for
purpose and offer8 the d￿nItY for personal care they de8erve.
The work on the Musical Trails for 14-19 department also took place in
the summer holiday8 2021 and the pupils are now enjoying using this
A new kiln has also been instalted along %*iih other equipment for working
wth clay.
Unfortunately the woth on the family Centre is still detayed, we are very
frustrated by this and are redty ho￿n9 lo see some progr8S8 in the
coming year.
Fn'ends of Wictoria made two donat￿n5 to other charities Birmingham
Phab Camps and Parks for Play - this was in memory of a pupil. Money
had been raised and matched by Benevty and was divided equally
belween (￿rSelveS and the other 2 charities.
We would like to thank the following Charities for supporting us this year:
