TLC.. Talk. Listen, Change was formed on 181 April 2017. Prior to this wè used lo be part of the national Relale
Federalionlsince 19811 bul back in 2016. with a growing range of $ervice5, our Board. our staff, our volunteers and
other rnèmbers all decided we Gould givè bètter, more useful and inlegraled seNices as a whclly independenl
charity.

people we work with and the Communities in which they live.
How our activities deliver publlc benefll
We deliver a range of integrated support. therapies and programmes of work whlch help improve emotional
wellbelng and ensuie safe, healthy and happy relalionships. W& believe that being surrounded by sale, healthy and
happy relationships supports high levels of emollonal wellbeing and in¢reas8d pgrson81 resilience. We want all
relationships to be as good as possible. Relalionships should be nourished and sometimes everyone needs support
lo do this.
We deliver setvlces tD people of all ages. We deliver services lo individuals, couples, lamS1ies and communllles.
We lake a holistic approach to each person, tailoring support according lo what Ihey mosl want to achieve and the
way in which they want lo engage with us. We will pay allenlion lo the spe¢lfic needs of mar9inalised andlor

getting to know and understand the person.

Financlal revlew
The charity's prindpal sources of income during the year continued lo be income earned from the delivery of
counselling, wellbein9 and relalionshlp support services, togethcr with individual cllènl payments, grants and
Investment income. Tolal incomg for the year ended 31 March 2025 amounted lo £4,679.000 {2024: £4,326,714),
with the majority generated from charilable acllvilies. Total expendllure for Ihe year was £4,637,486 {2024'.
£4,268,575). resulting In 8 nel surplus for the year of £41.51412024-. £58,139).
The Iruslees undertook a review of Ihe classificalion of income and expenditure in the prior year and idenllfied that
income arising fTom seNice delivery contrac15 had previously been incorrectly reported as restriGled funds. These
anangements represent contracts for the provision of 5eTvices and do not constitute restricted income under the
Charilies SORP. As a result, a prior year adjustment was made to reclassify income ol £4.037.135 and expenditure
of £4,125,194 to unreslricled funds, with a net deficit of £88,059 transferred fiom restricted funds to the unrestricted
general fund. Comparative figure5 have been reslaled accordingly.
At 31 March 2025, total unreslricled funds slood at £624,44212024'. £582.928). The Iruslges consider the chaTIty'S
rinancial posilion lo be stable, with sufficient unrestTlCted reserves to support ongolng opèrations and lo provide
resilience against short-term fluclualion$ in income.
Cash balances at the year end were £272.635 (2024.. £538,561). Thè rèduclion in cash during the year primarily
reftects the liming of receipts, movements in working capllal and investment in fixed assels and deposits, rather
than underlying financial weakness. The charlly continues lo closely monitor Cash flow and liquidily,

at this level wlll ènsure that, in the evenl of a significant drop In lunding, they will be able to continue the charity's

The Charity during the past years has built up reserves to safeguard thè ftrture of th8 service during thése difficult

14 Subsidiaries
TLC.. Talk, Listen, Change is the parent charity of Now You're Talking Therapy Limited, a wholly owned
subsidiary. In accordance with the Companies Act 2006 and section 24.13 of FRS 102, the trustees have
elected not to prepare ¢onsolidated financial stalements on Ihe basis that the subsidiary's tumover,
expenditure. assets and liabilities are immaterial to the charity's overall financial position and perfomance.
These financial statements therefore present information for the charity alone. Separate company (parent
charilyl financial statements are required to be prepared by law.
Consolidated financial statements for the TLC Group are not prepared. as the subsidiary is considered
immaterial for the purpose of giving a true and f8ir view.

In thé prior year, income and expenditure relating to seNice dèlivèry contracts waB incorrectly classified as
restricted fund8. These contraGts represent income eamed from Ihe provision of services and do not constitute
rastrleled income, as the funds w8re received in exchange for seNlces de￿Vered and were not subject to
donor imposed restrlctlons as defined by the Charitles SORP.
As a result, a prior year adjuslment has been made to reclassify Ihese balances from re8lriGted funds to
