Annual Report 2024-25
We have renewed our classroom hire contraci for aniher 2 years. The rent
has increased by 7 %. As the cost ot" living has been goingy up a lot in the last
few years especially the energy cost so we think il was reasonable.
Benefactor Dr. Li Kai Hung is retiring so he let us use his ot.fice to hold our
GCSE and GCE A-level Chinese Language exaininalions. We have
converted one of the rooms in the basement ol" his ot.fice to be a secure room
to keep our safe for examinalion materials. The Edexcel board inspeLtL'd and
approved our new secure rooin and our new examination venue. We are
pleased that we liave achieved IOOO/o Edexcel Chinese Laiiguagye
exaininations pass rate of top grade in our first year in the new examination
venue, Dr. Li Kai Hung then considered to let us use his office as a
pem]anent premises t'or our CEC.CC head quarter. Hence we are preparing a
planning application to Trat"ford Council to use his oftice t.or our centre's
activities.
We ran the second Qipao Show and Competition in the RHS Bridgewater
Garden in spring ?025. VIPS like The Lord Mayor of Manchester, Mayor ot"
Salford, Mayor of Trafford, Consuls of People Republic of China in
Manchester and many other dignities attended our event. It was a very
successful event.

As the charitys trustees, you are responsible for the preparation of the
accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Chariti&s Act 2011

I report in respect of my examination of the Trust's accounls carried out
under section 145 of thè 2011 Act and in carrying out my axamination, I
have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission
under section 14515)Ib) of the Act.
