**Objects:** (A) TO PROMOTE THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF TELFORD AND ADJACENT AREAS WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF SEX OR OF POLITICAL, RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINIONS, BY PROVIDING OR ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE, FOR RECREATION AND LEISURE-TIME OCCUPATION WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE SAID INHABITANTS. (B) TO PROMOTE ANY CHARITABLE PURPOSE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE SAID INHABITANTS, AND IN THE PARTICULAR, THE RELIEF OF POVERTY, OF THE AGED, AND OF THE SICK; THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION; THE PROTECTION OF GOOD PHYSICAL AND MENTAL HEALTH; AND THE PROMOTION OF EQUALITY OF OPPORTUNITY BETWEEN PEOPLE OF DIFFERENT RACIAL ORIGIN.(C) TO ESTABLISH OR TO SECURE THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A COMMUNITY CENTRE AND TO MAINTAIN AND MANAGE, OR TO CO-OPERATE WITH LOCAL STATUTORY AUTHORITY IN THE MAINTENANCE AND MANAGEMENT OF SUCH A CENTRE FOR ACTIVITIES PROMOTED BY THE ASSOCIATION AND IT'S CONSTITUENT BODIES IN FURTHERANCE OF THE ABOVE OBJECTS.
