**Objects:** (I) TO PROMOTE ANY CHARITABLE PURPOSES FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PATIENTS RESIDENT OR NON-RESIDENT OF THE JAMES COOK UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL RELATIVES AND FRIENDS OF SUCH PATIENTS PERSONS EMPLOYED AT THE HOSPITAL AND PERSONS CONCERNED IN THE CARE OF THE PATIENTS (WHETHER RESIDENT OR NON-RESIDENT) AT THE HOSPITAL AND IN PARTICULAR THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION THE PRESERVATION OF HEALTH AND THE RELIEF OF POVERTY, DISTRESS AND SICKNESS.
