Minutes of the Charity Meeting held on Wednesday 20[th] November 2024 at 9.30am.

Apologies were received from Jo Kay (Vice Chair), Katie Jones (Assistant Headteacher).
A big thank you to Rachael, Wacka and friends who raised over £10,000. The fundraising will continue to buy equipment for the Park.
Update on Adventure Park:
There has been nothing donated from the local authority to date, we still wait to hear from Social Care who said that they would donate, but didn’t know how much, also MVLT have been asked for a donation.
We have now reached the funding amount for the first phase of the Adventure Park. We have also received a cheque from CER (Supply Agency) for £19,000.
Lee (Stafford) has contacts in local business and is going to ask for help with the ground works to alleviate some of the funds which can then be spend on more equipment.
Wacka (Peter Stafford) is going to plan a sponsored bike ride to Bootle from Southport. They should have about 20 riders who, hopefully, will raise £1,000 each.
Cargill’s have granted us a further £10,000 which is amazing, once we receive this they will have granted the school £20,000.
Karen and June have met with Touchwood and Eden Play to go over their design brief. Both designs were looked at by the committee and it was agreed by all that we commission Touchwood to design the Adventure Park. I explained that we are still waiting for the third brief from ‘Play Learn and Sport’ but still not received this. The committee were all in agreement to go with Touchwood.
Any other business:
It was agreed that we organise a Grotto in school for all the pupils on the three sites, date to be arranged.
