**Objects:** (1) TO ADVANCE MUSICAL EDUCATION AMONG YOUNG PEOPLE AND TO FOSTER THE KNOWLEDGE AND APPRECIATION OF THE ART AND SCIENCE OF MUSIC IN ALL ITS ASPECTS BY THE PRESENTATION OF PUBLIC CONCERTS AND RECITALS AND BY SUCH OTHER WAYS AS THE ORCHESTRA THROUGH ITS COMMITTEE SHALL DETERMINE FROM TIME TO TIME (2) TO ESTABLISH AND MAINTAIN A SCHOOL OF MUSIC WHERE INSTRUCTION IN THE PLAYING OF MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS SHALL BE GIVEN WITH THE AIM OF PARAGRAPH (1) IN VIEW.

**Activities:** To advance musical education among young people and to foster the knowledge and appreciation of the art of music in all its aspects. To this end we hold regular programmes of rehearsals and training sessions leading to public concerts and recitals.
