S | Charity Overview : | The charity operates on a much smaller scale than when it was first incorporated with only the 4 ! Chairperson, Secretary and Treasurer being actively involved. There are no additional = volunteers. Due to the personal circumstances of the Trustees, the cha rity currently relies on = unsolicited donations, funds received ‘in memory of...” and bequests for income. = Grant applications are invited when sufficient funds are available and all applications are ‘ overviewed and assessed by an independent medical professional before any decision is made. 2 Financial Review of the year ended 31 March 2025 : After several relatively quiet years, the charity was fortunate enough to receive a single bequest . of £25,000. This resulted in total income of £28,745 with expenditure of £2229, comprising ; solely of the cost of advertising on Yell.com. | This resulted in a net increase of funds of £26,516 with the total funds held increasing to : | £164,224. The charity has further bequests pending and once these are received, it is hoped the charity will be able to invite further grant applications.

## Reserves Policy 

in order to meet any unforeseen expenditure e.g. grant overruns, the charity maintains a £10,000 reserve of uncommitted funds when assessing funds available for grant applications. independent[Overview] The charity has engaged LHP Accountants, 31 High Street, Llandovery SA20 ODD to undertake the independent overview of the accounts.
